Mosses
Desiduose Trees
These are birches. They are one of the most common trees in Finland. Desiduose trees cannot survive in the winter because they need the warmth and water. As you know in the fall the leaves start falling off because they cant stand the cold weather. When it starts getting warmer and it starts raining again in the spring the leaves will start growing again.
Coniferous Trees
This is a typical pine tree. These are trees that will last all year around. Unlike desiduos trees, coniferous trees keep their leaves throught the winter. Coniferous trees usually grow straight upward and have spike formed leaves that are called needles. The trees seeds are shaped as a cone and called pine cones.
Herbaceous Plants
Here are some very beutiful daisies! Daisies are a very common flower, if you ask someone to name 3 flowers, a daisy would most likely be one of them. Daisies grow all around the world- exept for in Antarctica. Daisies have round pedals and they come in different colors.
Woody Plants
These are redcurrant bushes and they include in the woody plants category. The berries that grow on this bush can be either red or white. They are packed with vitamins and minerals. The leaves on the bush are big and have a little spikey edges.
Water Plants

This is a very common type of water plant. It is very long and has sharp leaves. At the tip of the plant there are it´s flowers. They look like spikes and will turn into a corndog shaped flower when it is ready.
